Germany is working on Global Warming this year,
we are trying to pass a few things including...

-developed countries to economically aid less developed countries-
-Substitute pollutant energy to green energy-
-signing the Kyoto Protocol-

and more that will be shown in caucus...

France is in favor of this resolution, as it combats global warming. As a country who is engaged in fighting any kind of pollution, such as nuclear waste, gas emissions and oil spills, France agrees to support any kind of resolution that helps the enviroment and protects our planet.

Turkey supports your resolution, but when you mean by "green energy",do you mean by biofuels?Because although European governments pledged last year to increase the use of biofuels to 10 percent, biofuels may be more polluting than fossil fuels, and that diversion of crops to fuel production may be a factor in rising food prices.

Salam, or better, Goede morgen, i mean Guten Morgen fellow delegate of Deutschland !!! Razz The country of Afghanistan is completely in favor of Germany's proposal. As an anticipated response to those that might be already wondering the economical and political impacts of reducing the green house gases, the delegate of Afghanistan wuld like to answer that there is indeed a way of continue the world's production in an Eco-Friendly way. If the Internatioanl Community approaches this issue in a logical/rational manner, the proposal will not be disruptive to the economy and will not turn the world upside down, as many believe. Delegates of all nations, let's adress the problem with the maximum seriousness. إله يبارك أنت

Global Warming is a over rated issue . Apocaliptical consequences are what most scientists , or should I say enviromentalists, promise, but the Czech Republic believes all of this is based on irrational arguments.

Once again, the delegation of France would like reaffirm it's support for this resolution. An alternative for combating the emission of gases is through the use of nuclear energy (which France proposes all countries to safely adopt in their resolution). Nuclear energy doesn't release any gas and is important in the combat for global warming. Now, I would like know some of Germany's solution to this issue and what is being proposed. Salut! cheers

Gabriel, are you saying that your country believes that Global Warming is not an important topic? If so, I pity you, and if not try to rewrite your posts, since the meaning did not come out the way you wanted.

When we say Green Energy, we mean energy that is better for nature, and for the enviornment, because eventualy the cycle ends up in human life, and the survival of us all. We Thank Turkey for your support, and hope others will be as wise as you.

To France,

though there are many topics that Germany would like to cover,
one of the most important would be, paying more atention to the kyoto Protocol, it is of great importance to all...

It was a great idea, but the idea could be better explored, Willy Silva, representing Australia is making a topic, in chich he will support the creation of a new protocol, in which evcerybody will have to follow when signed, not like USA did in the Kyoto Protocol!

Turkey agrees with you and also wants to point out the Kyoto protocol, if U.S, the one who pollutes the most, doesnt sign it, decreasing global warming can be really hard to happen.

Yes, delegate, the Kyoto Protocol is of great importance and it SHOULD be followed by all nations that wish to see our planet Earth prosper.
The EU has consistently been one of the major nominal supporters of the Kyoto Protocol, negotiating hard to get wavering countries on board.
Since France shut down its last coal mine, 77% of its electricity comes from nuclear power and therefore has relatively low CO2 emissions.

It is totally in favor of this resolution and hopes that the Global Warming issues are resolved!

Delegate Jaap, I would like to estate that Czech Republic does not believe in Global Warming. As the delegate already said, it's a overrated issue. The Czech Republic won't sign various enviromental treaties and waste millions on this, while other urgent tasks are to be resolved.

Another point is aiding the poor countries will just increse the CO2 emissions. The United States of America, world largest economic power, is the most pollutant , sending 36.1% of world wide green house emissions. It's a matter of logic:
Developmente = Polution

Delegate Gabriel,

as quoted by the one and only(You)

"Delegate Jaap, I would like to estate that Czech Republic does not believe in Global Warming."

first of all, please correct your english before you send in a post, it does not look good when you 'atack' somebody and your spelling is wrong, and second of all, this is the most foolish response i have heard in a while, are you sure you are speaking for the whole country? If you do not believ in global warming, tehn you are both, out dated, since it is one of the most important topics in the world, since it kills 160,000 a year and leaves aproximatly 5,000,000 sick apart of that, and also as you said, "Czech Republic" should be ashamed, trying to ignore a topic that in your country itself is a huge problem, please feel free to try and atack Germany verboly again, for we have enough information four many deffenses!!!

Gabriel, how can you say that global warming does not exist? What about the typhoons in Japan? What about the off-setting of rain seasons? What about hurricanes? What about the seismic waves in Brazil?

Delegate of the Czech Republic, please review your facts. Global warming is not overrated. Your view of development is wrong, for if a country is able to develop with "Green Energy", it does not contribute to the greenhouse gas emission and it develops as well, or even better, as other developing nations that use greenhouse gas-emitting sources of energy.

Besides, global warming does not only happen because of production. A tree can hold in it about 2,000 kilograms of carbon dioxide per year. Deforestation is also a matter that makes carbon dioxide be released into the air. When a tree is burned, all that carbon dioxide goes into the air, plus more from the mass of the tree itself.

I seriously believe that all should vote in favor of this revolution. We do not yet have the details on what Germany intends to do, but, unless there is something absurd in it, the vote should be yes. I did global warming in the MUN last year and I was actually surprised when I actually saw what was going on. Delegates, the situation is off-setting and ridiculous.

Take care of the world; vote in favor of this resolution.

Delegates
Let's make this forum about global issues and not gramatical mistakes. It really doesnt matter how you wite as long as everyone can understand it.
Anyway, Czech Republican delegate, Global Warmimgn is not a religion or cult for people to believe in or not. Im sad to say that it is a fact. It is statistics and most of all it is considered an issue. If it didnt exist, then how can it be a discusson topic in the United Nations? As the delegate of Columbia has stated, the off-setting of rain seasons, occasional hurricanes, seismic waves in Brazil, acid rain in Chinease skys, the HOLE in the ozone layer and the destruction of forests are just some examples of the effects of Global Warmimng. It does exist, and it will continue to be present n our planet, wether Czech Republic like it or not.

The delegation of Syria would like to remind all nations that it supports Germany's resolution. As our resolution, one of Germany's main purposes is to decrease the rate of effects caused in the world due to the global warming. It aims to the atmosphere's environmental stability, which certainly benefits all countries in all ways.
Many pollution rates come from the release of CO2 and CH4 into the atmosphere. It has been proved that nuclear energy, since it does not require this source of substances, helps to dimish the amount of pollution, for it uses uranium power plants and not petroleum, coal, or oil.
Finally, the world needs a drastic change that won't affect country's financial capability and will instead ecologically aid our planet.

Delegate Marcelo, the country you represent, Congo, was taken by a rebel force. You should put all your focus in solving this issue, and not coming to this topic and using immature and unsophisticated language.

And another detail; Having a monkey foto is completely childish and innapropiate.
¬¬

( Just to clarify, Delegate Marcelo had a foto of a laughting monkey, he just changed his picture , and cowardly accused me , indirectly , of racism. )

Delegate Jaap, it has not seemed as if you completely understood Czech Republic's position in global warming. The president of our country, Vaclav Klaus, does not believe global warming is a real issue. He condemns it to be an invention of the media in order to enforce the marketing. It may seem ridiculous, but everyone diserves to be heard and have their opinion discussed. I hope we can come into a peaceful agreement.

Please everyone lets stick to the topic at hand, it seems that its becoming a mess over here.

Now,back to the topic, global warming isnt a theory, its a fact, it has been proven over and over again by scientists and the consequences of global warming has already been showing in the world. if nations dont act quick to try to solve this problem, we might get into a situation that will be out of control. If we dont act now it might be too late.
